Just make sure your photo is professional. A high-quality headshot is preferable to a selfie, but both are superior to a snapshot of you out on the town.

Keep making new relationships.

Increase your visibility by expanding your network, getting your foot in the door at new companies, and exploring new career options. Of the job seekers who found work swiftly, 87 percent had made 10 or more connections in the previous three months. In theory, everyone who works for firms or industries that interest you could be a connection.

How else can you use LinkedIn to find job opportunities?

The survey findings largely concern LinkedIn profiles and communities. They do not mention LinkedIn’s job-searching tools or other ways to connect to fresh chances.
